Chopped Cheese Burgers on the Loco Griddle

Ingredients
- 1 lb 85/15 ground beef
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 medium sweet onion
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 5 hamburger buns
Instructions
- Start off by prepping all the veggies! Dice the bell peppers, dice the sweet onions, slice the tomatoes and slice the lettuce.
- Preheat the griddle on high heat. Once preheated, lay down the burgers on the griddle and season those up with salt and pepper. After 3 min flip, after 3 more minutes, add the bell peppers and onions to the burgers. Add salt and pepper, then chop the meat and veggies with the spatula incorporating everything.
- After the beef begins to crisp up, add the cheese. At this point, lower the heat to 350 on the griddle.
- Now incorporate the cheese in with the meat, chop the cheese right into it, and once it’s melted, turn off the griddle.
- Toast the buns with mayo or butter and assemble, add mayo and ketchup to the buns, add the meat, now the lettuce and finally the tomatoes, season the tomatoes up.
