This is one amazing and delicious recipe. The cheese tortilla gets so crispy! I used some New York steak thinly sliced I got from Costco. Highly recommend this one.
Length of time from start to finish: 45 min
Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients:
- 1 lb New York steak thinly sliced
- 1 lb shredded cheese (you can use your favorite)
- 1/4 cup crema Mexicana
- 1 sweet onion
- Your favorite carne asada seasoning (I recommend Spanglish asadero all-purpose)Here is a link to my seasonings https://www.spanglishasadero.com/ use code Fire10
- 1/2 lb refried beans
Guacamole Salsa Ingredients:
- 2 hass avocados
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/4 sweet onion
- 5 tomatillos
- Juice of 5 lemons
- 1/4 bunch cilantro
- 2 serrano peppers
- 2 jalapeño peppers
- Salt to taste
 Instructions:
-I did this cook on my Cuisinart griddle. Preheat your griddle to medium-high heat.
-Cut your onions as thin as possible, then season your steak. Make the guacamole salsa next, add everything to a blender nicely cleaned and blend until smooth, add salt to season.
-Then cook your steak for about 1 min per side. They cook quickly as they are really thin.
-Then add a handful of cheese to the griddle and let sit for 3 min before flipping it, the cheese will make the perfect tortilla. Once you flip it leave it for 1 additional min before removing it.
-Then it’s time to assemble, add a tbsp of refried beans, then the New York steak,  crema, guacamole salsa and finally the onions. Then enjoy.
