Garlic Steak Tips and Eggs

This one is one breakfast you want to have here and there but not all the time. Although, it’s one recipe you want to make pretty often after trying it. I went with a good ole ribeye! You can always go with a sirloin, which is very tender.

Length of time from start to finish:  40 min
Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients:
  • 1 1lb ribeye steak
  • 1/2 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions:

-Preheat your grill to 350 degrees.

-Start of by cutting the parsley and mincing the garlic, then set aside.

-Now it’s time to cut up the steak. Cut the steak into 1 inch thick pieces, then season it with salt pepper garlic. Grill the steak 1 min per side on all sides and then remove and preheat your skillet.

-Add 1 tbsp cooking oil along with the butter, the oil will keep the butter from burning. Once the butter starts to form bubbles, add parsley, chili flakes and the minced garlic and stir for 1 min.

-Now add the steak back in, coat the steak in that delicious garlic sauce. After 2 min has passed, add the eggs. Cook your eggs to your liking. I seasoned mine with salt pepper garlic. I cooked my eggs sunny side up.

-Then remove from heat let cool for 3 min before serving.

You can add any other ingredients you enjoy to the sauce, maybe some thyme or rosemary, or some sautéed onions. Serve along with toasted baguette slices.
