Instructions:

-Preheat your smoker to 250 degrees.

– Now let’s mix the cream cheese! in a bowl add, block of cream cheese, jam, your favorite seasoning, and mix until combined.

-Now cut the jalapeños in half. I like this method, because it’s easier to fill with cream cheese, remove all the seeds and veins.

-Let’s fill the jalapeños! Add a good amount of cream cheese and wrap the jalapeños in bacon. Use tooth picks to hold the bacon in place.

-Sprinkle more seasoning on the jalapeño poppers. Place the jalapeños in the smoker and smoke until the jalapeños are nice and crispy. I decided to make a grilled cheese sandwich.

-I added 1/4 cup of cheese along with 3 jalapeño poppers and I added mayo to the buns. You can always use butter, toast the bread on medium heat, remove the grilled cheese until the cheese is fully melted.

-I flipped the bread every 3 min.  Let cool for 3 min and enjoy.

Make a lot of these sandwiches as they go fast, enjoy this recipe for your next tailgate, you can always make the jalapeños a day before. To toast the buns you can use a skillet, I used my griddle.
