Length of time from start to finish: 35 min

Instructions:

-Preheat your smoker to 250 degrees and season the ribeye steak with just salt. You can add any other spices if you like.

-Now place the steak on the smoker and remove it once it hits an internal temperature of 110 degrees. While the steak is smoking and it’s almost done, cut the bottom of the asparagus where it’s the woodiest.

-Now preheat your skillet and add a good amount of oil. Remove and Pat dry the steak with a paper towel, this will ensure a great crust. Sear the steak one min per side.

-Once you flip the steak add, the thyme, butter and crushed garlic. This will add a ton of flavor to the steak. Baste for 30 seconds then remove the steak and add the asparagus.

-Cook the asparagus until fork tender. Now slice up the steak! Slice it as thin or as thick as you want.

You can use any other cut of steak, you just can’t beat a ribeye. I highly recommend a meat thermometer to ensure you cook the steak to your liking.
