These miniature chicken lollipops are so delicious, they can make for a great appetizer or something you wanna make for your family and make them go wow🤩. The task is tedious but well worth it, especially the clean-up of the bone.
Length of time from start to finish: 45 min
Difficulty: Medium
Ingredients:
- 3 lbs chicken drumsticks (the once from the chicken wing and not the chicken legs)
- I used Spanglish asadero my smokin buffalo blend to season Click here for seasoning (Code fire10)
- Sauce ingredients
- 1/2 stick of unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup wing sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
Instructions:
-Preheat your grill to 350 degrees.
-Let’s prep the chicken, get yourself a sharp knife, and cut just where the bone and the meat meet, then with your fingers, push the meat down revealing the bone.
-Get a cleaver or a heavy knife and chop the end of the wing off. This will leave just the bone nicely exposed. Be very careful with this step.
-Then add avocado oil all over the wings about 1 tbsp and your seasoning. Grill the wings until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Grill them direct heat turning every minute until you get a nice char then close your grill and let them finish cooking.
-Meanwhile, mix all ingredients to make your sauce. Simmer on low and consistently stir for 10 min. Then remove your wings and toss in that delicious sauce.
