Marinade
- 3/4 cup rye whiskey
- 1/2 cup bbq sauce
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp minced garlic
Instructions
-Start off by marinating the wings overnight.
-The next day, set up your grill at 350 degrees and cook the wings indirect until 150 degrees.
-Then sear them 15 seconds per side until they develop a nice char.
-Once the wings reach an internal temp of 160 add bbq sauce, then remove them at 175 internal temperature. You will want to make extra marinade to cook down for 15 min on simmer to use as a glaze towards the end.
-Lastly, I garnished the wings with fresh chives.
