Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions and shape into balls.
Place the burger balls onto the preheated skillet or griddle and smash them with a burger press or two spatulas. Season and flip when the Patties look watery on top.
While the patties are cooking, heat a separate skillet/ other side of the griddle to medium heat and cook the bacon until crispy.
Toast the hamburger buns in the same skillet or griddle as the patties.
To assemble the burgers, spread a generous amount of mayo on each side of the buns.
Place a cooked patty on each bottom bun, followed by a slice of cheddar cheese, a few slices of tomato and lettuce, and a few slices of avocado.
Top each burger with 2 slices of bacon and the top bun.
Serve the burgers immediately and enjoy!
