Butter Garlic Steak Bites and Mashed Potatoes

Seared steak bites with Dano's seasoning, creamy mashed potatoes, and rich garlic butter sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 2 New York strip steaks 8 oz each cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2-3 tablespoons Dano's Butter Steak seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 large russet potatoes peeled and cubed
  • ΒΌ cup heavy cream warmed
  • 2 tablespoons butter for potatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 stick unsalted butter for sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes

Method
 

  1. Cook cubed potatoes in salted water 15-20 minutes until tender. Drain, mash with warm cream and butter. Season and keep warm.
  2. Cut room-temperature steaks into 1-inch cubes. Season generously with Dano's Butter Steak seasoning and let rest 10-15 minutes.
  3. Heat skillet over medium-high heat with oil. Sear steak cubes 2-3 minutes per side until beautifully browned. Remove and keep warm.
  4. In same pan, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add garlic and cook 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in parsley and chili flakes.
  5. Return steak bites to pan and toss with garlic butter. Serve over mashed potatoes with extra sauce drizzled over top.
  6. Garnish with additional parsley and serve immediately while hot.
