Cajun Honey Grilled Lobster Tails Recipe with Butter Sauce

Grilled lobster tails with sweet and spicy Cajun honey butter sauce. Perfect for special occasions with restaurant-quality results and beautiful caramelized glaze.

Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails 6-8 oz each
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 stick unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tsp garlic paste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Method

  1. Butterfly lobster tails by cutting through top shell and pulling meat over shell. Brush with oil and season.
  2. Make sauce by combining melted butter, parsley, honey, Cajun seasoning, and garlic paste. Reserve half for serving.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and oil grates well.
  4. Grill lobster meat-side down for 2-3 minutes until marked.
  5. Flip shell-side down and baste with sauce. Continue grilling 4-6 minutes, basting every 2 minutes.
  6. Cook until internal temperature reaches 140°F and meat is opaque.
  7. Serve immediately with reserved sauce and lemon wedges.

Notes

Don't overcook lobster or it becomes tough. Watch honey carefully to prevent burning. Reserve clean sauce for serving separate from basting sauce.
