Let’s prep the dredge! In a bowl mix in the eggs with the milk and whisk until fully combined.
In another bowl or plate, add the flour plus your favorite steak seasoning. Leave an empty plate on the side to place your steaks in once they are coated.
Now flatten out your steaks with a meat mallet and season generously with salt and pepper.
Now grab a steak and dip in the dry batter. Then the egg milk wash, and once again in the dry batter,
Preheat your oil to 350 degrees
In a skillet just get enough oil in it to cover the bottom, fry your streak about 3 min per side or until golden brown. I flipped my steak every 2 minutes so one side doesn’t get too burned
Now, once your steaks are fully fried set them aside
In the same skillet, drain out your oil and let’s make the gravy.
Place your skillet over low medium heat. Add the butter first. Once the butter is melted, add the flour and once the flour is added, keep on stirring. Whisk until the flour is a nice golden brown
Then whisk in the milk and water and continue whisking until it thickens to your liking.
Once thickened add garlic powder salt and pepper to taste.
Plate the steak and top off with that delicious gravy.
