Method
- Start off by cutting up your potatoes, you can always buy them in a bag. I used my potato slicer. Par boil the fries for 5 minutes, then let them cool and pat dry.
- Now season those up (use your favorite seasoning) and set aside. The steaks, cube them up into 1/2 inch cubes.
- Now season those up with your favorite seasoning. Once everything is prepped, preheat your skillet to medium high heat. Now add about 2 tbsp cooking oil to the pan and start to sear your steak bites
- Sear about 1 minute per side or until they are nicely browned. Remove them and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the fries, give them a good crisp. This is about 4 minutes.
- Now remove those and cut the heat to low. Add the butter. Once the butter is melted, add the garlic.
- Once the garlic is fragrant, add the herb seasoning.
- Once all is incorporated, add the steak bites and potatoes to the skillet. Combine until everything is coated nicely. Remove from heat, let cool for 5 min before serving.
Notes
You can use any other cut of steaks, like New York, sirloin or chuck.
