Hoisin Garlic Beef Ribs

Difficulty: Easy
Servings: 4
Course: Main Course
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs thin sliced beef ribs
Marinade
  • 1/2 cup Japanese bbq sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds, for garnish

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine the Japanese bbq sauce, soy sauce, garlic paste, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well until all the ingredients are combined and the marinade is smooth.
  2. Add the thin sliced beef ribs to the marinade, making sure that each rib is well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat your grill on high heat. If you don't have a grill, you can use a grill pan or a regular frying pan instead.
  4. Once the grill is hot, remove the beef ribs from the marinade and shake off any excess. Place the ribs on the grill and cook for 5 minutes on each side, or until they are nicely charred and cooked through.
  5. Once the beef ribs are done, remove them from the grill and transfer them to a serving platter. Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the top of the ribs for garnish.
  6. Serve the Hoisin Garlic Beef Ribs immediately, along with some steamed rice on the side. Enjoy!
