Honey Garlic Grilled Chicken Wings

Ingredients
  

  • For the Wings:
  • - 3 lbs chicken wings
  • - Danos Spicy seasoning use code FIRE15
  • Honey Garlic Sauce:
  • - ½ cup honey
  • - ¼ cup soy sauce
  • - 4 cloves garlic minced
  • - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • - 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • - ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Pat wings dry and season generously with Danos Spicy seasoning. Rest 15-20 minutes at room temperature.
  2. Make sauce: combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, butter, vinegar, and red pepper flakes in saucepan. Simmer 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  3. Set up grill for two-zone cooking at 350-375°F. Clean and oil grates.
  4. Grill wings on indirect heat 15-20 minutes, turning every 5-7 minutes until nearly cooked through.
  5. Move to direct heat for 3-5 minutes per side to crisp skin.
  6. Brush with honey garlic sauce during final 5-7 minutes, applying 2-3 thin coats.
  7. Check internal temperature reaches 165°F, then rest 2-3 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve with extra sauce for dipping.

Notes

- Pat wings completely dry for crispiest skin
- Apply sauce only during final minutes to prevent burning
