Ingredients
Method
- Season the chicken tenders with your favorite poultry seasoning and set them aside. Prepare three dredging bowls: whisk the eggs in one bowl, add flour and seasoning to the second bowl, and place crushed honey oat cereal in the third. Coat each chicken tender by first dipping it in the flour mixture, shaking off excess, then coating it in the egg mixture, and finally pressing it into the crushed cereal. Let the coated tenders rest on a cooling rack for 10 minutes.
- Preheat oil to 350°F. Fry the chicken tenders in batches for about 6 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Drain on a wire rack or paper towels.
- To make the hot honey sauce, combine honey, butter, and wing sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the butter melts and the sauce is well blended.
- Brush the hot honey sauce over the fried chicken tenders while they are still warm. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces and enjoy!
